P&O Cruises Cabin Upgrade Programme
P&O Cruises has launched its Cabin Upgrade Programme, giving you a chance to add even more luxury to your holiday by upgrading your cabin via P&O Cruises Upgrade.

What is the P&O Upgrade Programme
On March the 28th, P&O soft launched their P&O Cabin Upgrade Programme! Currently only open to guests who have booked directly, the programme allows you to submit an offer to upgrade your cabin to a higher grade of cabin on your cruise.
We have personally experienced similar programmes are also used by MSC Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean Cruises. While we have tried to big the minimum amount a few times, we’ve never been lucky!
Steps to upgrade
1 – Wait for the email. If you’re eligible, you’ll be sent an email from us to access the upgrade website.
2 – Choose your cabin. Once on the P&O Cruises Upgrades website, simply choose a cabin upgrade from the list provided.
3 – Make an offer. Make P&O an offer of how much you’d be happy to pay to upgrade to that cabin, there will be a minimum amount you can ‘bid’.
4 – Get your upgrade! If your offer is accepted, you will need to pay within 72 hours and your booking will be automatically updated. If your offer is not accepted, you will be informed approximately 6 days before sailing.
Who is eligible for the upgrade programme?
As mentioned, during this soft launch, it will only be available if you have booked directly with P&O Cruises, are the lead guest, are aged 18 or over, have paid your balance in full and have not opted out of receiving pre cruise communications.
You will receive an invite to offer approximately 80 days prior to your cruise departure.
Can you refuse the cabin your are upgraded to?
No, like with other cruise lines, once you opt to upgrade you can’t go back. P&O will automatically allocate you an upgraded cabin if your upgrade offer is accepted.
P&O Cruises Upgrade may not be suitable for you if you have selected a particular cabin because it has certain features or is in a particular location onboard.
Accessible Cabin upgrades
If you have already booked an accessible / wheelchair cabin P&O will only upgrade you if an accessible cabin is available at your chosen upgrade cabin grade.
Can you choose the cabin you are upgraded to?
P&O can’t guarantee a specific cabin location within the upgraded category, however you will receive all amenities associated with the upgraded cabin.
