P&O Arvia Norway & Belgium – Episode 1 Is Now Live!
Our brand‑new P&O Arvia cruise series has officially launched, and Episode 1 is packed with excitement, first impressions, and that unbeatable feeling of stepping back on board for a seven‑night adventure to the Norwegian Fjords and Bruges.
This sailing cost us £735 per person for an inside cabin, plus £413 per person for the Deluxe Drinks Package. With unlimited soft drinks, 15 alcoholic drinks a day, £30 dining credit and the Ultimate Wi‑Fi plan, it offered fantastic value during the August bank holiday.
Boarding Day: Smooth, Simple & Full of Buzz
With luggage dropped off and boarding passes ready, we breezed through check‑in and security. That magical moment of walking up the gangway never gets old, and once onboard we headed straight to the Amber Bar for our first drink of the holiday.
Inside Cabin First Impressions
Our inside cabin was modern, spacious and beautifully decorated. Plenty of storage, British plug sockets, a well‑designed bathroom and a comfortable queen‑configured bed made it the perfect base for our seven‑night cruise.
Exploring Arvia & Sailaway
We spent the afternoon exploring the Beachcomber Pool, Sky Dome and the Infinity Pool before heading aft to wave goodbye to Queen Anne as she sailed past. Soon after, Arvia departed Southampton and our Norwegian adventure officially began.
Dinner at The Beach House
Night one meant one thing: The Beach House. For just £11.50 per person, plus optional premium dishes, it remains one of Arvia’s best‑value speciality restaurants. We enjoyed Mexican poke bowls, chicken wings and sizzling lava‑stone steaks, along with a complimentary bottle of wine thanks to a first‑night dining offer.
Sky Dome Entertainment & Nightcap
The Sky Dome transformed into a lively evening venue with a brilliant tribute act that had us dancing along. We finished the night at The Crow’s Nest with a relaxing drink before heading to bed, ready for a full sea day ahead.
