A Perfect Sea Day on P&O Arvia: Spa, Dining, Drinks & Relaxation Before Norway | Episode 2
There’s something special about a sea day, and in Episode 2 of our P&O Arvia Norway & Belgium cruise series, we’re making the most of every moment as we sail towards the spectacular Norwegian fjords. Based on our experiences onboard P&O Arvia, the day includes dining, spa time, drinks, relaxation, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy life at sea.
After enjoying a much-needed lie-in, we head to Taste 360 in the SkyDome for a late breakfast and early lunch. This complimentary street food venue offers a great selection of burgers, snacks and casual dining options, making it perfect for a relaxed sea day.
Next up is some well-earned relaxation in the Oasis Spa Thermal Suite. We share our experience of the hydrotherapy pool, heated loungers, sauna, steam room and cooling room, as well as whether we think the thermal suite pass offers good value for money on a P&O Cruises holiday.
Feeling refreshed, we make our way to The Glass House, one of Arvia’s speciality dining venues. The tapas-style menu proves to be one of the culinary highlights of the cruise so far, with delicious seafood, beef dishes, cheese boards and, of course, a few glasses of wine.
We also spend time exploring more of the ship, browsing the onboard shops, walking the promenade deck and enjoying the sea views from the Sunset Bar as Arvia continues her journey north. There’s even time for some hot tub relaxation in the SkyDome, where we discover that finding a quiet spot on a larger cruise ship isn’t always as difficult as some people think.
As evening arrives, we get dressed for dinner and head to the Zenith Restaurant for another excellent meal before finishing the day with drinks in Anderson’s Bar and an evening of entertainment in The Club House.
